So I've done a lot of work on the car recently, and the latest little issue is the idle. It starts off idling fine (DSMLink set at stock), but when I drive it around in warm weather, and then stop, it idles a lot higher (upwards of 3k) depending on how warm it is. During the clutch job, I removed all of the emissions crap. I'm also running a rewired 255hp walbro without an AFPR (I know, I know... I'm buying one soon) but none of these would really seem to cause the inconsistent idle.

The only thing I can think of is FIAV, which is a 1g thing only, right? The FIAV blockoff plates I've seen around are only for 1gs. Should I just say F-ck it and upgrade to a 1g TB with everything blocked off on it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've been doing some thinking and researching, and I think this could be due to the capped vent line from the gas tank, that used to run to the charcoal cannister. Has anyone heard of this causing problems? I'm going to try removing the cap and seeing what happens.

I was thinking about that, but that should cause high idle all the time, not just once the car is all warmed up, or when it's hot out. I'm pretty damn sure this is going to end up having to do with vapors pressurizing the gas tank.
