IC Piping question

Today I bought an ETS FMIC Kit from one of the partouts in the classifieds section but It looks like I'm missing a pipe (The one that bolts to the tb). I have the pipes that lead to the tb, but nothing to actually bolt on to the TB to couple the next pipe to. Hate to be a newb, but Am I missing a pipe, or missing something else??

To the best of my knowlege, the kit came out of a 92gsx and I have a 91gsx. Sorry to be a noob, but doesn't only the 2g have the elbow?

nope both cars have elbows.

Just go through the dsm classifieds and buy a 2g TB elbow they flow better cause theyre bigger the the 1gs. that and it will better match up to the piping on the fmic kit and it bolts right on to the stock 1g throttle body.it willl only run you $20ish.

Both elbows are similar the 2g is a little larger and better flowing. what ever you can find will work as its not going to make a noticeable difference at near stock hps and either one is better than none.

Ok, so from what I gather so far. It looks like I am just missing an elbow. If I buy a stock 2g elbow, It will bolt right up to my 1G TB and I sould be fine?

yep. check out the classified section in this forum there are quite a few part outs to pick over.

If your interested in a higher performance option the company Road Race Engineering makes a Tb elbow to match up to IC systems. Kinda pricey but they make very good stuff.
