i think i have problem

well, i bought a new clutch for my car. just stock replacement, nothing fancy. i tore the tranny out, tore out the old clutch and put the new one in. i had the flywheel turned and everything. so i go to start the car the clutch pedal just goes straight to the ground. the car starts fine but the clutch wont disengage, the clutch pedal just goes straight to the ground. i bled the slave cylinder, no air. is it possible that the flywheel was overturned and now the clutch wont disengage? any help would be greatly appriciated.

did you remember to put the pressure plate back in there?

Are you leaking brake fluid anywhere?

How about the mechanics? The slave cylinder is where it should be with the rod in place, properly seated in the clutch folk? The clutch fork is properly seated in the pivot and the TOB?

Did they step the flywheel correctly? Did you put a new throw out bearing on their, did you shim the throwout bearing?

if the clutch wont diengage the step ont flywheel is to shallow. but since you had ur stocker machined u shouldn t have that problem. here is a quick tip get under the car and while someone is pressing on the clutch see if the clutch fork doesn t fully tap out. if it does you need to shim the fork or replace it. god luck
