I Need Major Help Asap Please Read

OK I PUT A NEW VALVE COVER ON and took my car for a drive it died on me when i went to shift into 4th gear and now the car just cranks and cranks and wont try to turn over does ne one know what might be wrong i was told the coil pack or it might be a fuel problem please help ASAP

Sounds like you may have forgotten to reconnect something. May even be a vacuum leak. Check all of your connectors and make sure your PCV valve is reconnected.

Edit: Check to make sure that your CAS is plugged in first

1. Spark
2. Fuel
3. Compression

An undefined problem has an infinite number of solutions.

Please be more descriptive. How and why did you replace valve cover? What diagnostics have you done so far?

Best bet is to retrace your steps and see if you missed anything.

OK Everything seems to be connected the pcv valve is the one on the top left of the valve cover right and i do it have it on and in tight any other ideas

Just for shits and giggles check to see if your timing belt is still on.

ok i put the valve cover on cause i got a polished one to replace the old one i put a k an n filter setup on and new spark plugs and a boost gauge thats all thats done so far and there is no spark thats why some one told me the coil pack

yea the belt is still on i made sure of that the moment it quit

Do you have spark at any of the wires? Or is there no output.

Unplug every electrical connector you messed with and plug it back in but before you do check for fluid and debris inside of them. If nothing helps then the coil pack could very well be bad.

Have anyone you know with another DSM you can swap the coil out to test it.

I was under the assumption that an eclipse had 2 ignition coils.

Isnt there also a transistor on DSM's that controls the current pre-coil.
