I made a CAD/3DS Max 3G w/4G63T, video inside

For the last year or so I've been doin CAD at ITT, through the year I've been workin on this car, I did the 3G with the 4G63T because I wish the 3G came with turbo but o well. I didn't have time yet to do the tranny or the other small details of the engine but It still came out pretty good. What do you guys think?

btw you guys know a website I can upload a little but higher resolution? the hoods carbon fiber and the animation is kinda sketchy, dang youtube.

Looks good dude but one thing I noticed was that one of the cam gears seems to have some play in it you might want to look at that but other than that everything else was actually pretty cool.

Thats pretty cool! I have no experience with CAD or anything, but the one thing that looked funny to me was the spark plug wires. Good job though!

ive played with CAD and a couple other programs but damn that is some good work

Cams all out of time, bent exhaust sprocket, broken Lambo hinge, F&F drug scratches on the doors.... yup, that's a 3G, alright. But girls would like it. Because it's blue, and it's "cute".

haha, thanks guys, I'm workin on a garrett turbo right now, got the Compressor Housing and Turbine Housing done just need to do the center section and the internals, its alot of work but it's worth it. I'll put a few pics up of my new work in progress, I'll fix the problems you guys mentioned later.

I posted Pics, it still needs dimensioned, and some shapes need reconstructed but I'll do that when my friend gets his new Turbo, but for now it looks alright.

If anyone has any experience with CAD, I've been working on the Compressor Blades for last 19 hours, I've tried every way I know of to make them in Catia, if anyone has any ideas PLEASE let me know! I'll post some more updated pics of what I've done so far.

I work with MicroStation. Can't you simply draw one blade and array it around a center point? Or are you looking for help on the blade itself? Surface modeling seems like a good bet to me.

I've been working on the Generative Shape Design for while, It's coming together.

If you want to make a blade for a compressor wheel, use the sweep feature. Draw the cross section of the blade, then sweep it across a defined path. From there you can modify the overall shape.
