Montreal,
maybe we can make a stiky with all the boost psi for all setup it can look like this :

2G
stock = safe = xx psi , max = xx psi

2G
with BOV = safe = xx psi , max = xx psi

2G
with BOV
with exhaust = safe = xx psi , max = xx psi

2G
with BOV
with Turbo Back
with ported or Evo 3 o2 Housing = safe = xx psi , max = xx psi

2G
with BOV
with Turbo Back
with ported or Evo 3 o2 Housing
with 190 fuel pump = safe = xx psi , max = xx psi

good idea or too much different setup to doing this ?

There is alot of variables that chenge the different psi's people can run like fuel, altitude, temperature, size of exhaust, difference in turbo and air flow, ect. I'm not sure this can be done real accurate.

Yea, there are way too many variables in this equation to make a post concerning that. I think that if there was a sticky about that, too many new memebers would just boost what they are told in the thread and skip the necessary tuning/logging step. Then there would be an onslaught of posts saying, 'I blew my motor, but I was only running what was posted in XX thread'.

Good idea, but I think the boost level variance would be too vague to be really helpful.

perfect , but many new member just dont know how much psi he could run with her setup that just why im asking this

Thanks

thats what they're telling you man. you can't know what psi is safe without taking into consideration all those variables.

the only way to know how to run max boost or safe boost is to get at least a pocketlogger and look at you're fuel trims, knock #'s, and o2 voltages. and possibly injector duty cycle.

but at least for me, im only running 13psi with intake, hard intercooler pipes, and full 3" exhaust. i don't feel comfortable pushing much more than stock psi without having a logger. and espically with not knowing what condition my motor is in internally with 140k on the clock.
