i got some questions..

Hey everyone.. well i got two questions that I could use a little help with, any help will be appriciated.

1) Right now I have a Thermal R&D full catback exhaust & I want to run a full 3in turbo back. What would the best downpipes be to run the best setup with my exhaust? & is there any downpipes that will bolt right up where I don't have to do any modification?

2) I just installed 6k HiDs and having trouble leveling them.. is there a specific way to get them to be level and straight or do I just have to sit there and play with them?

1. I have this exhaust as well and I have an RRE 3" downpipe. I highly recommend it because it is a slip fit and doesn't neck down for a flange and you never have to worry about it not bolting up. It works fantastic.

2. There is no real way to adjust out headlights since they bolt in to the car solid. The only way may be to head the plastic up a little bit that holds them to the car at the top bolt and move it up and down and when it cools it should stay put.

personally i would use a punishment racing down pipe and get a test pipe too. you will see a much bigger difference in sound and power. slowboy has some good choicesw to . id give them a call 1 724 349 8417 ext 19 and ask for joe,

thanks guys.. i was looking at vids on youtube and saw a dsm with my exhaust with an OBX downpipe & test pipe. i loved the sound, it sounded like an sti in a way .. have you ever heard of this downpipe? i saw it on ebay and it was fairly cheap.

The downpipe won't change the sound as much as not having a cat. When I put mine back in my exhaust got quieter. The Thermal is a very quiet exhaust to start with though. I beleive one of the quietest exhaust's for our cars.

yeah, but i heard its one of the best for our cars as well. i live in a pretty quiet area so mine seems loud to people, otherwise i dont care how loud it is. you sure it got quieter with out a cat? i thought the car would be louder? so ill look into the RRE and punishment racing downpipes. & ill let you guys know how i make out.

He said "when he put his BACK IN" Having a cat will make the car quieter. In the end all of them are going to do the same thing, little difference but a name and price.
