I can get some free parts but..

So let me explain. My friend from work has a friend who owns a Honda drag racing shop close by. They are constantly giving away parts that are perfectly fine but customers don't want... to the right people that is.

So my question is what kind of things should I put myself on the list to save parts for? I am already asking them to save me a HX35 or HX40 which he said is very likely to happen because the Honda guy's think it spools slow.

Other than that I have no idea what else to look out for that will be worth my time.

Your prob gonna have to stick with the universal parts like turbos, wastegates ect... for obvious reasons.

Wastegates, blow off valves, Injectors (seeing how some of them run DSM 450's), oil catch cans, be warry of the turbos, battery tie downs...Just simple things.

And whatever you cant use, just sell for money to buy parts that fit your car!!

I'm just not to sure what the universal parts are. I honestly haven't worked on anything other than DSMs, so I really have no idea what are considered universal.

Man you're one lucky guy! Take everything you can as previously mentioned in this thread and what ever you can't use just slap it on ebay or craigslist .. then once you turn a profit put more $ into your car

Boost controllers and any gauges, wide bands can all be used. And those RAD type R floor mats...haha
