I started off the day with my car perfectly fine then I would drive along and I would notice my car temp guage would just move around randomly. then I noticed that my car would smoke a little bit. So later that nIght I was driving and I stoped at a resturant left my car runnin came back out it was smokin like crazy from the engine bay. coolant was commin out everywere like were the oil filter housing is. so I drove it home the car was overheating It think. I thought it was just like a broken hose or something but when I got home I noticed I was leaking a ton of oil along with the coolant the oil seems to be comming somewere along the oil pan or in that area. If I rev my engine up while under the hood I can see smoke come up like oil or something else. The car runs the same but will overheat quick then like if I come to a stop its back to normal. I think it liked about a quart of oil it leaked then it just stopped idk what the problem is someone Please Hlep me

sounds like a head gasket or cracked head...I have a VR-4 and a talon tsi...both blew the head gasket...easy to fix yourself or bring a jar of vasoline when u go to the repair shop...it cost me$260.00/ Do a compression test that will tell you for sure

Ok I'm kinda not thinkin its the head gasket the leaking antifreeze was from a rubber hose and I still don't know about the oil but my turbo doesn't work at all anymore it just sounds like a fire truck so I'm leaning towards just a blown turbo

if u have the water leak fixed the car will stay cool...the cooling system is supposed to be under pressure when hot...any loss of pressure during operating temp and the car will over heat(pressure creates higher boiling point)as for the turbo...my turbo would blow oil smoke but would still boost...I replaced the seal in the turbo and everthing is fine. your turbo is water cooled and the oil is gravity fed from the head(oil comes from the head to the turbo to the oil pan in that order. you might have a combination of two problems. keep a close eye on your fluid levels and find out where there going and good luck :thumb:

you drove it when its runing like that?!?! You probably warped your head already because you did that. I had that happen, and so did a friend of mine. If you pul your head I would def. check it for warpage, even check the block surface to be safe. good luck -Matt
