How to install racing seats

just bought new RActive racing seats and got some brackets and sliders but they are sparco didn't know if it made a difference but the guy i ordered them from said that i would still have to weld things in order to get everything in and to get them to work is this true. Or do you just bolt everything on.

Go outside take off your stock seat, and see what you can do.

Im not sure about your particular setup but heres mine. I have Tenzo seats and Im using Corbeau brackets and sliders. Brackets mount perfect in the car. To get the brackets to mount to the seats however, I had to do some measuring and draw a diagram of what I wanted done. Took the brackets to a metal shop, showed them, they welded some pieces on for me then I took them and drilled a few holes and bam. Easy as that.

you have to buy brackets and sliders. The backets bolt to the car ( 4 bolts usually ) then the slider bolt to the seat. Then slide the sliders onto the brackets.

No. Each brand of style of seat requires a different bracket. I'm in the process of saving up for Bride Vios full bucket seats and I can either use the Bride rails/bracket or a company who custom makes them named Weldsport.
