How to align TDC 1 on new engine.

Here's the problem. I have a new engine and I am putting the timing side on it right now. I know to align the camshafts so the dowel pins are up and the notches are aligned on the side. The question is, how do I set it so that the crank is TDC 1?

Make sure these marks line up.
