I Currently have a 99 Civic EX and I'm looking to buy something alittle faster. I found a 95 GSX for $5900. Its got leather(great condition, no cracks or rips), sunroof, power everything(I think???), 5 speed, 77K, and all stock. Do you think $5900 is good or bad price???? I'm gonna go test drive it this weekend. Another thing this will probably be a daily driver for about a year, then will become a weekend car. Any recalls for this year GSX, any major problems with this year??? Anything I should look for when I test drive??? (besides the usual power options, interior, exterior, etc...) I'm new to DSM's, sorry if I'm acting like a noob. Any opinions would be well appreciated, thanks!

That sounds like a hell of a deal... that is fairly low milage, and a really low price. As long as the owner has kept up on maitenence, and the car drives fine, I would jump on that before someone else does.

yeah that sounds like a good deal to me.

I bought my 95 gst for $4500. it has 91,000 miles. I would have paid an extra $1200 for AWD and lower mileage.

hells yeah... i paid like twice that for my 1997 gsx with more milage... although i was stupid and didnt know any better. i also got a 2 year warranty with that though and ive beat the shit out of the car to break stuff and get it replaced.

Have a mechanic check for crankshaft play, and if that checks out, buy her up. Ya never know, somebody might just want to get rid of it because it started crankwalking. But, sounds like a great deal to me. I paid 8k for my old 97 gsx with 80k on it for what's it's worth.

Thanks guys, i'll take my dad with me, hes a bodyman at a pontiac-gms dealership. see waht he says, take the car for a ride, run it through the rpms see if anything sounds or feels funny. thanks for the input, i'll let you guys know about the car thsi weekend, hopefully if i get to go, laters all!

Try to lowball him though. :thumb:
A stock, low-mileage, low rust DSM will make life so much better.
