How much did it cost to paint you centert taillight.

i like the look of the center taillight painted the same color of the car. How much did you goes pay to get a decent job done?

whats up man, ok actually i just got mine back today from being painted. im in jersey so might be higher then southern states or something, but i dropped it off yesterday and was done this morning, very quick, was 55 total and i kept about 3/4's of the paint left in the pint can... looks good ... then maaco didnt wanna do it cus they said that its a reflector and it brakes the saftey regulations so i was like ok bye and took it to ghetto perth amboy were i know they dont really care. just my 2 cents

i did mine myself. spent about 10 bucks on the paint stuff. check out the redded talon tails thread, theres alota stuff in there.

It should be less then 100 no matter where you go. I didn't do it on mine cuz the spyder 3rd brake light is on the trunk not the spoiler and I think it would look ###.

On my black GSX, I bought paint from Pep Boys and used some extra clearcoat and primer I had laying around. Primer, sand, I used like 5 coats of black, let it sit in the car over night b/c I didn't want to get any dust on it, then i used 3 clearcoats, then let it sit all day long. It has held up for one year so far with no problems and the paint was a perfect match.
I have also heard many people on here give numbers anywhere between $45 and $60 with or without the letters ECLIPSE. I took mine off.

I did my on my GS- Painted the whole center panel black with the letters on.

When the paint was dry, I pealed the lettering off, and it then said ECLIPSE in the red panel color... looked pretty decent.

I had some pics of it, but I lost them. Ill take some shots tomorrow.
