Yea, we went out for happy hour then came back to play cards with my buddies, had two loko's while playing cards. Maybe it was mixing the beer and four loko's.

Only way I drink "energy" drinks is red bull mixed with Jeagermister. But the few times I have tried "energy drinks" without anything added they never give me any energy. Also they do not taste good. This also includes coffee.

Jägerbombs, kill 2 birds with one stone...the energy keeps you from passing out!

I only drink water, milk, apple, orange, pineapple juice. Lemonade. Now in then I'll drink tea or coffee. I'll drink a beer like every blue moon or so . Maybe like once a month or so. I drink mostly water. Thats my energy drink. Water!!

Water is the best thing to constantly drink, along with other healthy juices. If you develop a habit of doing so it you will feel far better than having an energy drink habit, and not crash at all. I tried the water and only lasted a couple weeks, but it tastes like crap, especially being a cigarette smoker. I just drink Clover Farms Icy Tea. I can never fall asleep without a struggle before 4 am and I wake up at 8:30 am. I also eat McDonalds 6 out of 7 days of the week, and sometimes twice a day, so more than 7 days a week in reality.

I've never had an energy drink. So I don't know how they taste. Yeah. Water will keep your liver and kidneys clean. Also, water can save you alot of money in toilet paper. You won't use as much anymore since it comes out cleaner an less messy. . If you are looking for a great alternative to an energy drink, do this: Squeeze 1or 2 lemons or limes into 1 litre of water and enjoy your new energy drink. Yeah for water!!!

God.. I've been down that road.

When I was low on Cash a few years back.. the only way to go was McDonalds. A few Hot N Spicys.. Sweet Tea, and I was golden. 2-3 times a day if I could afford not only the gas, but the trip there. I still crave Hot N Spicys from time to time. I keep a stocked fridge now and pick round at nice restraunts.. but I'll never get over that old McDonalds kick. Something about how cheap and simple it is...

Energy Drinks? I enjoy Red Bull, Green Monster, and Full Throttle. The Tart Taste is really appealing to me. I can't stand a fruity carbinated drink besides Grape and Orange soda.

If I REALLY need to stay awake.. 1 Yoohoo will have me climbing up the fvcking walls.

Used to grab a Monster Java (original or vanilla bean) every morning on the way to work, and then if i got tired around 3ish id grab a green Monster from our vending machine (only $2!) and slam it.

Then about 1mo ago i started getting more frequent stomach aches. Cut out that crap and been fine since. I drink tons of water now and at most ill put one of the Crystal energy drink packets in it.

terrible i used to work for pepsi before i quit i drank those amp juice by far its the best tasting, most energy boost than any enery drink then i have ever tasted. dont let the size of the bottle fool u! please dont drink 2 bottles a day, u wont go to sleep!

I work at a gas station and we got 2 cases of that AMP juice... I tried both flavors as soon as they came in... probably the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. We've had those 2 cases (minus the 2 bottles I drank) for around 2 months now, and haven't sold a single bottle.

What's it taste like besides disgusting?

OH! I forgot about EXTREME SHOCK.

That stuff kicks ass. It's got a ton of niacin in it to boot... so you start iching a little.. your face warms up....then you turn into a 6year old with hyper-adhd. It's ridiculous how potent this stuff is. It tastes JUST LIKE a melted popsicle. If you want to stay up for 4-5 extra hours and get shit done like a crack-head... drink this stuff.

If you guys want to deal with it by the time your 40, then keep chugging. If not, stick to sugar free(less likely to get cancer from aspartame than diabetes).
I went another route with caffeine and quercetin, much healthier and more energy with no drop off.


edit: as soon as I posted that "quercetin" and googleadds poped up with armstrong and FRS. The FRS is good stuff but a bit expensive. I get pills off the net(name brand).

I drink one daily. I just hate monster tho such a nasty after taste. Rockstar works the best for me. Their yellow can " recovery" is pretty good.
