How come when i use a good maf my car idles good but under wot it runs 10.00 a/f ratio and really low timing. When i use a hacked maf it idles not as good but i see 10.8 to 11.8 a/f ratio under wot and about 15 degrees of timing and pulls way better. My car idles at 10 degrees of timing with a good maf and 20 with a hacked. also no matter where i set my cas it still runs the same. how does this make sense?

Not sure, but last time I checked I believe you should be seeing about 15º give or take of timing all stock.

Thing with MAF changes is that when you do any, the MAF should be dialed in. This is something you can do with a DSM Link at least. Maybe the HACKED MAF needs some dialing in for proper idle, but since it's flowing more and the reading is altered you are seen leaner air fuel ratios.

Quote from another thread:

"Hacking a mas tends to make it idle worse. DSMlink gives you the tools to make it run well, and wot will be better due to the lower restriction. Just make sure to compensate for the hacked maf by raising the maf comp sliders, otherwise the car will run lean. You'll have to re-tune for the maf changes."

ya i understand that but what i thought was wierd is no matter where i set my cas to it runs the same. what would cause that?

That I am not sure. I would say bad CAS or wiring but usually when the CAS goes bad the car has no injector pulse or spark.
