Winnipeg,
I am going to be changing my valve seals soon and I found this pic of a guy doing it with the cam gears still in place and i wanna know exactly what it would take to do this. The zip ties holding the timing belt in place is pretty easy to see but what could i do to keep the cam gears from falling after i remove the cams? What if the air i use to keep the valves from falling pushes down on the pistons?
I am very interested in not removing and reinstalling the timing belt if i don't have to.
Thanks

. I guess I doesn't really matter how the gears rest as long as the timing belt is tightly zip tied so it will be on the same exact tooth when I reinstall it. I guess If i decided to use rope instead of compressed air to hold the valves in I could just have someone help me by turning the gears while I turn the crank.
