How accurate are turbo 1/4 mile times?

I have an HKS type 1 turbo timer. I was wondering, how accurate are turbo timer 1/4 mile times? Has anyone tested them at the track to see if they are? THANKS, PEACE 1

HKS doesnt have a 1/4 time function, well at least the one that I had about 4 years ago didnt. It has a 1000m function. I never hooked up the speed wire for it, so I didnt get a chance to test it though.

The type 1 timer most certainly does 1/4 mile times. However I too have never tested it. One of these days...

Let us know if you find anything yourself. I'd imagine it's about as accurate as the G-Tech meters out there. That is, useful for testing and tuning, not useful against real numbers...

Hmm, I wonder if they changed it or im remembering wrong?

I thought it was all metric though, like 0-100kph, 0-1000m ect..

I know my greddy is, but i dont like how inconvenient it is to use..gotta push like 3 buttons at a time to change it from one function to the next..Definatly a :thumbdown .
