hot new alternator issue !! help

Hey guys here’s the biggie , the other day driving normally the lights inside the car began to lower the intensity , so I pull over , I took the negative cable out and the car shut down , so my first guest I checked the fuse of the alternator it was ok , so ok I left the car in a friend’s house , took the alternator out took it to the shop the brushes where good , they found the rectifiers bad , so the changed it , they test it and everything was fine , so I install the alternator again on the car , test it everything seams ok , but the battery went dead , so I took another battery , so I disconnect the negative cable and the car shut down , ha-ha any ideas guys ? The fuse is ok, the belt is new, the brushes on the alternator are good sooo, what’s wrong the battery light on the dash is not on? soo . helppp plssss I own a 95 gs 420a n/t

bad grounds. or wiring to alt....

i checked the wiring from the alt to the fuse box is ok , and i have plenty of grounds .... any more ideas ?

Most likely 2 things could be happening. Bad wires, or the regulator in the ECU is toast and not telling the alternator to make enough power.

Personally I'd double, triple, and quadruple check your wires. Cut open the insulation on the wires a few inches back and look for corrosion or discoloration, if you don't see nice bright copper within an inch or 2 of the exposed end then you need to replace the wire. The WHOLE wire.

If all wires are proven good then you may be looking at replacing the ECU

well i have a spare ecu and i all ready try it and is not working and i test the alternator with another cable to the fuse box and aint working what the F ...
