ok couple of quick questions, im about to install my mbc, and im looking at http://www.belitski.com/cars/talonmods/turbo/vfaqhallman.html on doing it, but it mentions using hose plugs that came with the hallman kit, anyone know what size/type of plugs these are and where to get them?

also, reading my instructions for A/F gauge, it says the best thing is to "T" the gauge wire into certain wires in the ecu. is there a certain peice you can buy at radio shack for this and just cut the ecu wire, strip all 3, and put in there? and is there any good connectors that dont need soldering, because not sure how easy its going to be to solder down there.

Is a "t" tap type of clamp. You crip the dark blue one into the main wire on that ecu harness for the o2 sensor. Once you got that done you can plug the sky blue colored plug into the back of that dark blue one...

Vaccum line caps.

This is the vac line "t's" and the one you need you will have to bring the hose to the store and kinda match it up. I would tell you what size it is but I don't remember... :(

so for the wire your crimp that blue part down, and it would penetrate the insulation and connect itself to the line, then hook the light blue part onto that, and connect my gauge wire to it? if so thats awsome :thumb:

size of my tubing I know I got around here somewhere just have to find it, but thanks for the info and pictures :)

oh, and are those the exact caps? it seems like they would get blown off, I may be wrong (because im sure your right) I was imagine more of a insert type of plug.

Hell yeah. Those T clamp electrical connections rule. That is exactly what i have for my O2 wire tap. They are nice because a vampire connection is pretty permenant and that "T" can be disconected if you need to. You just have to find the right size cap for what you are doing. i try to find one that will fit as tight as possible with out splitting and they will stay on even under pressure. You dotn want to stick anything in there becasue not only could it get shot out but it could get sucked in. A cap wil only fall of and cause a vacuum leak, something gettin sucked in may cause worse.

1. You got it right on the money on how to use the connector.

2. You're Welcome

3. That's the exact caps and they won't blowoff... I've been using them for a while.

well about the cap I was imagining like, it plug in, but the more at the top it comes out so it cant get sucked...or something like that, but im sure those caps wont come off.

and one last question about the T connector, is it one size fits all or do I need certain sizes (im guessing certain sizes, like most other connectors)...so anyone have any idea what gauge wire it is ill be clamping into? the guide says the ecu wires, and I have nothing to measure them with so if someone knows off the top of their head. unless you can buy like a kit with all different sizes for cheap. gonna be goin out to get things soon so hopefully i'll get a answer by then, if not ill get a bunch.

Never quoted myself. They only come in one size as far as I have seen, btu it will work just fine. just find some wire that is close to the same size and run that all the way to the ECU and use that connector. No need to over think it. Once you have all the pieces in front of you it will all make sense.

alright ill just see what they got, I imagine the wire is 12-14gauge if its needed, I just hate running back and forth because I got the wrong thing/forgot something.
