Horizontal marks on Kevlar timing belt

I have a total of 22 miles on this new power enterprises timing belt. It has some lines on it now. Its probably normal, but could someone comment on this one to either confirm or dis confirm my assumption. The tension on the belt should be perfect.

Im sure thats normal. As long as you dont have any WTF stretching going on. I was considering getting one of those belts as well. How much did it cost total to be shipped to you?

Btw, BFGs are nice ass tires

the wear marks are completely normal...just means that the timing belt is a little tight. But no worries. Mine did the same thing and I've got almost 4K miles on it with no problems

I imagine it will loosen up or the belt will stretch just a tad. I checked the measurement on the tensioner when I put the belt on and it was good. I just don't want to hurt a bearing or seal anywhere on the rotating assembly (if that's even possible from being too tight).

I agree with you on the tires. They are a little noisy, but my car is just loud period.

Mine has roughly 9 miles on it since a complete rebuild...Has those marks as well...

My old 91 TSi AWD had roughly 100 miles on it looked like that as well
