Holy Knock!!!!!!

I took this log when I took my car for a ride. I could not get into it much due to it knocking. At the end of the log I rev it twice while pulling it in the shop and I get 14.8* of knock. I know this must be phantom knock but any suggestions on a fix to this or anything else you might see in my log is very appreciated. On a side note my profile is up to date and my airflowperrev is high due to aftermarket cams. Thanks in advance for your time and help.

AC compressor? Remember it also comes onwith defroster automatically. But mine will trip off my J&S aftermarket knock sensor (even after having sent it in and having it tweaked to not listen to a few certain frequencies i can still pull almost 20* timing just by cycling it on and off in a parking lot in first gear or free revving)

Other things to check are a bad KS, (leaking, loose etc...) loose intake manifold bracket, loose suspension and other things that can transfer sound through the block

I just got done reading a thread from 08-09 where a guy was having issues and it was his wastegate flapper. The knock sensor is new but it is from autozone. I will order a OEM sensor before I ask for anymore help as this could very well be the problem.

I did check to make sure that it was in the right spot and I loosened it up and put it back in hand tight with a little twist of a wrench. I will try to see how much knock I can get free reving tomorrow. Thanks for the input and the response as there are so many "knock threads"

This is a fresh motor with very few miles so I was just trying to chase down the problem before I start trying to dial things in, after break in of course.

you should add boost est ,and a/f ratio to your log . I fought with that problem all last year ,until I upgraded to 3mm lifters and my phantom knock went away .your log looks to be showing phantom knock , just make sure everything is tight and there isn,t anything rattling around .

Thanks for the advise. 3G Lifters where part of the rebuild aswell. Those values should have at least been captured if not I will make sure they are next time. Thanks again.
