I do pizza deliveries and i'm tired of just letting my car run and sitting in the car waiting

I found two turbo timers, Apexi ($20) or an Hks ($50) is there a major difference between the two? Does anyone recommend one of the two?

wow wtf do you need a name brand turbo timer for? all it does is keep the car running. get the cheapest one you can. I personally like the smaller the better to go on the steering coloum

I have owned the Greddy One and I sold it to make room for my boost controller. I did that because the APEXi one was smaller and could mount more easily wherever i had room for it. The APEXi one is about as long as a sharpie and at the thickest part of the sharpie it the same thickness of the timer. Also, the APEXi one has the ability to double as an A/F ratio,o2 sensor voltage, and battery voltage.

Hope that helps.

I had the HKS, it was too big for me. I now have the blitz turbo timer, its small comes in two colors and has alot of built in extras. It works as a volt meter, a timer, and i believe it can also be hooked up to read outside temps ( but that doesnt work on mine ). I never liked the apexi one becuase it looks like a pen, and theres known to be alot of knock offs to this part on ebay.

thanks i'll be picking up the apexi one after my graduation today

$20 for a name brand is ridiculously cheap and you know its something you can count on

Where are you finding it for 20?

I have the pen sized Apex'I and it cost like $100 from Map....

Keep in mind that if you get the knockoff apex'i off Ebay......the only function that works is the turbo timer part it self, and you may say well i don't care about the a/f,o2,and battery feature but also the knockoffs are F'ed up.

I bought one way back and my car kept on dying if I went a day without starting it, and it was really annoying. But then I did some research and found out other people were having the same issues. I then bought the real thing and haven't looked back since.

I learned to buy the right things the first time. :thumb:

wow all your paying for is a narrow band which is trash in my opt and what i guess some of the super high dollar pay for it. I also dont know where people get this trash they say doesnt work i had a baby timer for 20 bucks on ebay worked great set for 3mins and it came on when the car was started and always let it run 3mins when shut off which is all you can really ask for in a turbo timer dont really know where you guys are buying from but never had a problem and just buy some gauges if thats what you want rather then buying a 200-300 turbo timer

You don't need a turbo timer. As long as you're not flooring it from house to house you will be fine. I used to deliver pizzas and my turbo is FINE. Don't waste your money.
