High Idle after Sea Foam

Hey guys

I used some Sea Foam today and now I have a high idle. It was right at 850 t0 950rpms now it about 1500rpms. I have tried to adjust it through dsmlink but it did not do anything. Any ideas what it could be?
Bliss screw?

Maybe the sea foam loosened up some carbon and clogged up or ruined the Idle Speed Control motor. I would check to see it's operating. Also, just for fun, make sure the throttle isn't stuck open. You should be able to check your throttle position via DSMLink or just go out there and make sure it's closing all the way at idle.

If he put the seafoam in properly through the intake manifold it would really ruin the ISC or anything near the throttle body because its after it. Things you should check are O2 sensor and spark plugs. Most common things that tend to get fouled and a bad 02 sensor can cause strange idles.

Also check to see if you put the hose on tight and make sure you didnt loosen any other lines when you did the sea foam.

Mine did this the first time I ever used SeaFoam. I used 1/3 in the gas tank, 1/3 in the oil and 1/3 through the PCV line (holy hell did I smoke up the neighborhood ). I took it out for a normal drive for a little bit, then the normal drive turned into a moderate beating on the way back to the house. Idled fine when I got back to the garage. Have you tried just taking it for a drive?

I put it in through the nipples after the TB. I have driven it around alot and it had not gone back down.

Make sure you drive around and get on it some times. Yet again check the spark plugs and 02 sensor. Did you put any in your gas tank?

I did not put any in the tank. I was able to get it back down by adjusting the biss screw. Im going to change the plugs this week.
