During the morning right after start up it idels fine aring 850 rpms. after warm up it hover around 1000 rpms. once in a while it might shoot up to 2000 rpms or 1200 or 1500. Im thinkings its not a intake leak becuase of the noraml ideal at start. any ideas anyone

Typically, a vacuum leak will not just go away. However, it is very easy to find when it acts up. It sounds more like an idle air control motor problem.

The vacuum leak can be found once it's idling high. Just pop the hood and listen for a hissing noise. If you don't hear a hissing noise then you'll have to get a little more aggressive. Take a can of brake clean and start spraying it around the intake manifold, injectors, throttle body, and the sensors in the intake manifold. Most of the time the engine will act very differently when it sucks in the brake clean instead of air. Most brake cleaners now aren't flamable and the engine will bog down when it is sucked in.

If you can't change the idle with the brake clean and you can't hear the vacuum leak then it would lead me to beleive your problem is more than likely in the idle air control motor.
