When I run the car, it runs great to 5,000 rpms, then the acceleration drops quite a bit.. like the car is holding back.. my air/fuel gauge drops the fuel back a little when this happens, also...

Under 5k, the air/fuel is 100% full rich, then when it starts to hesitate, takes it to like 80%

I am getting a check engine code p107 (Checkers/Schucks code reader) and that says i have a fuel trim problem.. sensor, solonoid.. something of that nature...

where should i start? i am going to replace the fuel filter today and see if that helps.. it's never been done

The boost under 5k is around 13psi, and obove 5k, drops to 9-10

I had the same CEL light come on a month ago: "fuel trim Malfunction". Since my car had been down for 45 days, i never got to understand what the problem was. I thought it was bad gas, but it wasnt after 4 or 5 fillups it still came on. Then i had in mind that maybe the fuel injection needs to be cleaned, also fuel filter, or fuel pump. It could be any of those problems

i replaced fuel filter... (argh!!!!) and went to look under the car to see if it was leaking, and ended up seeing a puddle of fuel about midway down the car... will look into that...
