So when i was swapping in my 14b I ended up stripping the threads into the head (where the oil feed would go). So i bought a SS oil feed and tried to plug the stripped threads with a bolt and some crush washers. I knew this was going to be temporary because it started leaking very slowly. But now i'm sick of oil spots in the garage and having to add oil every week so i want to fix it. I took it in to a local shop and they said they could heli-coil it but he wasn't sure if it would stop the leak.....so he suggested taking it to a machine shop because they special in this kind of stuff. I'm short on cash so I was wondering if i could coat the bolt with some JB weld and try and fix it that way? any suggestions...

Heli coil will work fine. I did the same thing to my head, I put in a heli coil and still use it for my oil feed without any leaks.

Keep in mind that when you drill out the hole and tap the hole to put lots of grease on the drill bit and tap and just go a little at a time then remove tap or drill and clean and reapply grease and then go a little further then repeat cleaning to keep as much of the aluminum chips out of the engine as possible, then before putting the helicoil itself in the tapped hole remove your mpi fuse and have someone crank the engine over while you hold something at the hole to catch the oil squirting out to try to get any remaining chips out of the hole.
