Help with TMO logger

I just got a TMO logger on ebay. Got laptop and cable, software installed on laptop. So I look on the TMO site to make sure I have it installed right. Looks like I do, but the logger can't see the ECU, I am not sure what port to set it to, and not sure if it is even an actuall logger cable. I am a bit worried. I got the whole setup for a good price, and the program and laptop work fine, but I think the cable may be a hack. It plugs into car fine and it has 4 wires, it almost looks like a telephone cable that has the end cut off, the cable plugs into a com port connector. That plugs into laptop. My question is what do I do on startup with a logger. I am hoping I am just not doing something I need to do, but I am thinking this guy may have f*cked me. He had a ton of good feedback and has bought and sold other DSM parts in the recent past, so I figured I was safe. If you guys could give me a walkthrough on the TMO logger hopefully I can figure out the problem.

Come on, does anybody have the TMO logger. I am hoping I just didn't do initial setup right or something. Anybody have a link to instructions or a manual. Anybody got anything that would be helpful?

Does anyone have a TMO logger or know someone that has a TMO logger? I refuse to believe that no one on this board has a TMO logger. Please if you do either reply here or PM me or anything, I am trying to tune this car for the first time and I can't, so the DSM just sits in the driveway because I don't want to drive it with all the knock it seems like it is getting. So please give me some idea on how to make sure I am doing my setup right. Does anyone know where I can get directions on how to use the logger? Does anyone know where I can get a cable if mine is no good, what port do I set it to, anything that would be the least bit helpful would be greatly appreciated.

I know this thread is very, very old but i have the TMO software if anyone ever comes along this thread and needs it.
