Well I have just finished cleaning my lifters, by the way what is easiest way to put rocker back on. Well I have had low compression on my clyinders, and have had some knocking going on. I hope it is my lifters, but the low compression points to a valve or piston maybe? What do yall think? Car chugs its way up on start up.... Wants to die at idle sometime, haven't tried it with cleaned lifters but hopefully knocking will be gone. What do yall think will it, or does the low compression mean something else? 95 gst 5 speed. 133k, minor mods. Used gtx start up oil on oil change just 2 weeks ago. Used regular gas....bad or what? Alo dont run my car since knocking occurred 3 weeks ago. Knocking gets louder and faster as I push on gas. Car will not accelerate right either any hep would help thanks!!!

Also while cleaning lifters should i pump hard or not too hard, what am i suppose to feel or see when pumping them?? Lost of oil comin gout or little? Suppose to pump hard or soft? Thanks any help

1. I think you got more than one problem
2. If your lifters are making noise, I would describe it as a ticking, not a knocking.
3. If you got a knocking sound, it could be a lot of things, try to isolated. When does it happen? All the time? Cold or Hot?

:)
