I was reading some forums cause my tranny is acting up, and some told me to adjust my clutch pedal. I know I been adjusting the wrong way now I think. I been taking the clevis pen out and rotating the rod adjust the master cylinder. Can you just loosen the nut and take a pair of pliers and turn the rod without taking the clevis pen off? Thanks

Thats exactly how you do it, take back off that locking nut and then keep turning the rod until you can no longer push the slave cylinder in, once that happens back the rod the opposite way a tad until you can press the slave cylinder in a bit again and then put the locking nut back.
