When I first got my 1g it had a turboXS pos bov and i just picked up a 1g bov and I need the hose that goes from the bov to the intake, i got a piece of 1'' and it does not fit, anyone know any ideas or share what they did! help i have it torn appart and i need this back together 2nite :) thanks!

maybe I need 1 1/4'' or something please help me out

Just go to your local autozone and buy some radiator hose that most closely resembles the pattern you need to recirc the bov. The diameter if i remember correctly that you will need it to be is 1-1/4".

Just cut a piece of rad. hose if you have any laying around just enough where you can put it on the tube you have and for the other end to slip over the intake.....

Forget advanced, go to autozone. I don't know about where you live but where i go to there is a big plaza and in it there is advanced and autozone, and i was surprised to see autozone is cheaper.

not sure what you mean? im gonna go see if i can get 1 1/4''... i have a piece of 1'' that i cut too short and well it doesnt fit anyway, its super tight on the bov... and doesnt fit the intake tube... doesnt help i still have that horrible stock intake tube that gives u no room.

yea autozone here is usually cheaper for basic stuff... but 2 months ago i bought a cv axle they gave it too me and it was wayyyy wrong it was definitely fwd or something and they insisted that was right, I had to walk the guy out and roll him under the car to show him that an AWD was like half the length... ROFL:p

so i finally got a damn piece to fit, not sure i like it tho, but its on and i ran a few test runs and it seems pretty good.... is a 1g bov not supposed to make any kind of noise at blow off? haha cause i near nothing at all! could be because the rubber hose is pretty thick?? seems to be responding and everything a little better, i think my POS turboxs was leaking at all times....

I recommend going to a boneyard and finding the proper equipment designed for the function you need. Or you may find your local DSM board and see if anyone has one for sale.
Best of Luck.

I got this one to fit... its not perfect no... but im going to be getting fmic with pipes so ill perfect it then! also can someone answer what a 1g bov sounds like if it makes a sound at all?? :D and if it wasnt functioning i would notice correct?:applause:

The size you need is 1.25" Good luck trying to find something tonight!

thanks dude i did find something it was just a bit stiff but i got it on and clamped it should loosen up a little in time, im just not used to not having this ridiculous woooosh sound from that retarded TURBOXS bov... haha but i like it! especially for how my idle and how my car feels/responds now!

It sounds like a quiet single purge bov. If it wasn't functioning properly, and the spring wasn't opening you would hear a difference. It' s loud enough to hear inside the car with the windows up, no radio.

It depends on your intake setup, and the boost you run. The closer to stock it is the less you will hear it. My air filter is where the stock SMIC used to be and I have hard intake pipe. I hear it fine, but I run 28 psi and it is crushed & dodge-modded.

well its stock crap intake pipe, stock intercooler pipe and a pretty thick piece of hose used for recirculation... could be why i dont hear anything? (and stock boost)

turboxs bov isn't shitty more than likely it wasn't shimmed, and you can get hose at lowes, home depo for like 40cent a foot.

it was crappy, because it was an RFL LOL... and it vented and i definitely need it recirculating... plus it had an adapter so it would fit a 1g flange, and I believe that adapter was leaking ROFL

if i hear anything i think its the turbo spooling but nothing really on shift, i hear my 3'' exhaust ROFL... if it wasn't working or blowing off there would negative side affects i would notice correct?

my car has an rfl and it works fine. Mine is shimmed, and i'm running a gmf-t. You can always jb weld around small leaks, but if your on a stock even upgraded turbo the 1g bov will hold up to 30psi if crushed of mopar modded.

yea see thats the problem, i need to recirculate :) I'm glad yours is good tho! It's cool too turn heads with... :hellyeah:

Bro with an aftermarket intake you will tell the difference. Get a mbc and turn up the boost and you'll be even happier!
