Ok so my Grandma gives me a call the other day telling me her heat doesn't work in her car. Said at first it was overheating (hadn't tried the actual heat yet) and my uncle came and put a new thermostat in the car. That was about a month ago I think.
When she recently tried to turn the heat on nothing but cold air. I went over today and checked the coolant level (which was low) and took the car for a spin to get it up to operating temp. Temp rose just fine but no heat just like she said.
I'm guessing it's either the heater switch or the heater core, but is there any way to tell w/out replacing parts first? Thanks guys.
