I am looking for the 2g VIS EVO style hood but not in carbon fiber. If anyone knows where to get one please let me know. I have searched everywhere and all I can find is the carbon fiber style.

***EDIT***I've decided to go with the carbon fiber since that's all that is available for this style. Now to find a good place to get.
Anyone know where to get this hood for a great price and from a seller that cares how their stuff is shipped???

I don't think such thing exists. I believe the only hood of that is style is made in carbon fiber. Why do you not want carbon fiber?

Only reason I don't want it is because I want my hood the same color as my car. If they weren't so expensive because they're carbon fiber then I would probably buy one. It is a very nice hood in carbon fiber style but I'm hoping someone out there has seen this not in carbon fiber?

I really don't think such hood exists. Why do you want that hood anyway... it's ugly ass hell. LOL Just kidding.. To each his own. Everybody likes their own thing. You know carbon fiber can be painted though right? If you really want you could buy the carbon fiber version and get it painted to match your car.

^^ Very true. It/they can be painted quite easily. By any body shop that is. I know my dad partially painted one on an SRT4 a few years back. It is all in the prep (as most things are).

If I have to go that route I will but I am hoping to save a little money and find a non-carbon fiber one out there. Wishfull thinking here:thumb:

You could potentially find a used cf one or even one that's damaged and fix/paint it. That's what I'm doing with my damaged cf one I have right now. Since it's painted over, fiberglass damage repair won't show.

Yea I've been looking for one for quite some time now but it's getting close to time to get my car back on the road and I've got to paint it first. Hopefully something will pop up.

Satying with the carbon fiber look until it fades or gets ruined. I can't see paying as much as these hoods cost just to paint over the great quallity of work. Now to find one at a steal:thumb:
