I never posted or joined the forum before but i was researching online for info on a copy 16g turbo i found on ebay. I thought it was funny to see you guys going at it about quality. I love my car and I am not here to start a fight right off the bat. I am a peace loving guy that most people like around so dont go jumping to conclusions. I think its funny that people are knocking this turbo without even having info on it. I have had customers bring me turbos imported by these guys and the T3 /T4 's have been on daily driven cars for over a year. I know some of these came from India. But this is not about the turbo. this is about the industry from someone who really knows it like SBR and others. See i know things even they do not all know. It doesnt bother me that the turbo is made in china. I want to know if it lasts. I could care less who made it. So many parts for Mitsu as well as Toyota, Nissan etc... are made in Taiwan, China, India, Pakistan and so forth. ITs about the design and quality not where it was made. That CNC machine doesnt know where it is sitting just if it is programmed correctly. Shit I bought suspension for years from the company who makes, Buddy Club, JIC Magic and Cusco. I buy them for way under 600.00 a set for the complete coilovers. I cam tell you that none of them are made in Japan. JIC carbon strut bars, cool huh, not made in Japan and well less than what you pay for a dinner with your wife. See it just makes me mad to see such a heated discussion about things that dont matter instead of what I think everyone was really interested in. Numbers, Quality and correct discription. We cant complain about quality and reliability too much after all we all drive a dsm which sometimes should stand for Doesnt start much. I love cars and have over 17 years in the corperate end of the import industry. I speak from experience. I dont know DSM as much as i would like and will probably ask stupid questions but I cant drive the Nissan on the street as it is too radical. So i bought a customers dsm he blew up and am rebuilding the engine. I always wanted one so I am happy that I now own a 1g awd. I hope this just makes you all think a little. Its all about marketing. You can make a good product and never get off the ground without a name or image as well as $$$$ and on the other hand you can take a mid level product and with money make people believe anything you want. Depends upon how much money and time you have equals your placement in the food chain. See a tig welded 3" catback with a decent muffler costs me 142.00 shipped from cali. till i make money and ship it were at 225.00 - 250.00 now market it or pay someone to market it, inventory, overhead, liability insurance, and advertising and who knows you can sell it for say 500.00 retail like tanabe, apexi, and so on. I am not saying they arent good. I am just trying to make you think about it differently. what would happen if say I or they decided to only use 1/2 the money to market and cut the selling cost to make up the profit instead on selling more instead of per pc profit being higher. Anyhow just my 2 cents..... you all have a good evening
