Are you swapping headlights? The 2ga and 2gbs have the same plug?

i got some new headlights with hids off ebay and the plugs don't match up so i was guessing the plugs were different or i'm going to have to do some cutting and splicing

idk about egay lights but the OEM 2ga and 2gb are PNP. I just swapped to the 2gbs with no splicing or cutting.

well i guess i'm going to need a diagram then cause they are not pnp and i have no idea what wire are what

Hey there I also have some projector headlights off ebay that I have installed. Same as you the connector does not match up. It is pretty simple to find out which wire is which. All I did was cut off the connector and stripped all 3 wires so that part was exposed. Then just use an meter to se which has power when lights/high beams are on. The other is the ground. If u don't have a meter let me know and I will go out and check which is which for you.

yeah i thought of that but i have no experiance with hids so i don' want to wire something up wrong and short out the box.

If you have any experience with a meter it should be child's play to splice the correct wires.

If you cant read the diagram above, just hook the red wire of the box that shows +12 when the lights are switched all the way on, but nothing when only the parking lights are on. And wire the black wire to the wire that shows 0 ohms when the other lead is connected to the negative post of the battery.
