the rest of the front is fitted perfect! its just this part thats sagging, im looking for a simple solution but i doubt i will find it

I was going to say, if it is just sagging and is flexible.. Try rigging up a brace or bracket to pull up on the kit right there, and bolt it into the headlight or somewhere on the body right around the area.

that's what i was thinking. A bracket that holds it up would be your best bet. See if you cant get something to reach from the headlight to there and support it.

What it looks like to me is that the "aftermarket" bumper is a little wider than the car, and the force of having to compensate the sides being pushed in to meet the fenders appropriately has caused the inner part of the bumper under the lights to flex away fromt he lights making a gap. Usually aftermarket kits and things dont ever fit 100 percent correct because after all its just a mold of another mold. But anyways, like i was saying, the sides of the bumper were a little wider than the car, and when they were installed and bolted to the fenders, it caused the bumper to "wrinkle". An easy unoticeable fix is to actually make a cut in the bumper, and trim a little off the edges of the cut you made, (under the head light or the lights of course) and then refiberglass the cut back together, that way the stress is relieved and the bumper sits failrly correct again.

was the kit made for '95 or '96 cars? 98 & 99 headlights are smaller than the 95 headlights, so if you mix the wrong bumper and the wrong headlights it will leave a gap. maybe look into buying some cheap 95 eclipse headlights and that should fill the gap.

'97s are sad they dont exist in your world ..

Just kidding .. yeah i was gonna suggest the same thing .. it could be if its a newer style kit that it will take 97-99 ECLIPSE (not talon) headlights ..

Just a suggestion ..

If it were for a 95-96 the gap would be on the inside of the headlight/bumper. Not under it.. It's either A) Sagging down or B) As stated, was a bit too wide, and they just forced the bumper on there.

There is obviously force pushing the bumper together, causing it to look like it's sagging. If you try bracing it, you'll be putting more stress on the glass and you will most likely crack the bumper due to the added stress. The only real way to aleviate the stress betweent he 2 points would be to cut a simple line down the middle of the two points. It will suck to cut the kit, but if you want to fix it you will have to get it repainted/reglassed anyway so its worth a shot.

Let me know if you need pics, I can show you what i mean.

Wrong. There is no difference in the height of headlights regarless of the year. The front lense is longer or shorter but the distance from the bumper to the hood is the same. You can see in the picture that the gap is not even and actually lines up pretty good in the center. This suggests that it is indeed a "wrinkle" and when the side was bolted up it wrinkled down in that spot.
