Harm in switching to Prestone PS Fluid?

Hey guys, I wanted to change my Power Steering Fluid, and was wondering what harm would be done in replacing the old, factory PS fluid with simple Prestone PS Fluid (RATHER than following the owner's manual reccomendation to use Automatic Transmission Fluid.) Anyone done this? Thanks!!

isnt gonna hurt anything but the tranny fluid is probably half the cost of p/s, especially prestone

Wont make a difference. But like r1991_4g63t said, save the money and just use atf.
