So I just started my galant up after 6 months or so of sitting because the guy I bought it from bent the valves. I got the head redone and everything, and now I just started it up, and it will not idle unless you give it some gas for a little bit. Once it is there, it idles, but hard. I think the gas has been in there for a while, probably a bit longer than the car has been sitting, but I added about 5 gallons of fresh 91 and some fuel stabilizer about a month ago. Could it be bad gas?

I also noticed, my AEM UEGO wideband is reading "---" like its too rich, and when I give it gas it goes into the 18ish AFRs. My vacuum is reading about -8-12, could it be a bad vacuum leak? I only have the wastegate Tee'd into the bov and the left port on the IM, the IM to valve cover is capped at the IM, all of the throttle body is capped, and the FPR is tee'd into the bov and the right port on the IM.

Please help! thanks :hellyeah:

An A/F ratio of 18 is lean not rich... your not getting fuel, if it was running rich giving it more gas would stall it out faster not keep it going

Ah wow I feel like an idiot I should have known... I maxed out my injectors on my SAFC (510s) and they are just a bit too small to compensate for the 2G MAS on the car. I also pulled the fuel pump and siphoned the tank dry and put in a few more gallons of fresh 91, its running better. The car still idles at about 7 in. Hg, does that sound correct?

The wastegate should have it's own dedicated line from the MBC.

As for the vacuum, it seems a little low. Do you have stock cams?
