I read that a GSX will have a GST beat frop a stop, but the GST will beat the GSX if it is already on a roll. Why is that?

gsx weighs more and has more drivetrain loss. I'd still take a gsx over a gst though because how often do you race for money for more than a 1/4 mile and the top end difference isn't THAT severe.

also the GST transmission is geared more for topend while the GSX transmissions is geared more for acceleration but, i do disagree with 1fast97gsx i have NEVER lost to a 14b 1G/2G AWD with basic mods with my GST w/ a T-25 :dsm:

So let me get this straight, on your stats:
1/4 Mile Timeslip 14.878 @ 91.700

I would say you've raced STOCK 1G AWD with 14b's. Or rather SO FAR you've never lost to one.

so from stop...gsx will win...rollin gst will win cuz of weight...how bout a gsx and gst spyder rolling? who would win?

Closed.

Oh, and if you'd like to search -which I'm not allowed to tell you to do- it's been discussed many, many times in the past. However, they always seem to focus on the dreaded "weight" of the AWD chassis, and tend to forget about it having a lower final drive ratio.

But still, closed.
