GST Exhaust

Any after market exhaust will take away from low-end torque moreso than a GS-T exhaust. And after searching, the gs and gs-t share the same diamter exhaust, it's just that the gs-t has a different downpipe and uses two resonators after the catalytic converter instead of one.

then why do they say it gives some power?

hey nyte, how about some pics that arnt at... night?? those are really hard to see. why did you paint over the GS-T? its a sticker. i just used some adhesive remover, a blowdryer and a razor blade and i peeled it off. there a bi***, and i scratched it a little bit, but a little wax and it was good as new. ive never seen a turbo not come with the twin pipe... thats incredibly weird

, sorry, i guess i tried puttin too much emphasis into NYTE. if u wanna see day time pics, then ur gonna have to wait a while. i painted over the sticker cuz the car needed a paint job either way, so might as well kill two birds with one stone. ive seen gs's dat come w/ the 2 tail pipes, and gsx's dat come w/ the single pipe, i dunno, that is wierd. i always thought the mufflers werent uniform for either car. note i said muffler not exhaust.

ok my exhaust was off of a 97 gst spyder....i bought the whole exhaust for 80 bucks.....downpipe n all....but heres the catch that sum ppl need to realize....the downpipe you cannot use....which is quite obvious because it came off of a 4g63 which its dumped way lower then a 420a....and the other thing ppl need to realize that the stock downpipe that connects to your stock cat is at say a 45 degree angle....so when u go to put the GST cat on there the angles are messed up because the cat is sitting flat....and the stock downpipe is at an angle....so u must get a aftermarket cat or like i did....get a 420a test pipe....so im running no cats....strait pipe baby.....but after that everything bolts rite up and i have a nice sounding car.....its not a stupid ricer noice which i hate.....its got a nice low tone to it....this did help me thou i needed this bad but im on a low budget which i didnt feel like spending 400 + dollars on a cat-back exhaust which will do shit....but now my next this i want is a chip....any n/t guys know any good ones????

it says 97 only, but some guy on here put it on his 96 talon, and said it worked fine. i cant remember who did, but he said you have to do a tiny bit of splicing and it works. i dunno do a search for it, look up "97 only on a 96" or something like that
