Hey everyone,
Well I got my Prosport Electronic Boost Gauge installed today. It took me forever and a day to get it done. Once that was completed, I made a boost leak tester and attempted my first boost leak test today. I don't have a compressor and tried to pressurize the system using a bicycle pump. I found that I had a pretty good leak on one of my injectors. I think this is the root of several issues I was having (inconsistent/high idle, sputtering at WOT above 5k+). I hope so at least. Any thoughts on that? I have ordered all new O-rings and insulators. Should I spend the money to have the injectors cleaned? I think I will be going with new ones in 3-4 months anyway. This week was productive-I also installed my new-to-me EVOIII manifold and changed my fuel filter. I still have all new bushings and Eibach Prokit springs to install. It's coming together-slowly but surely.
