Stm!!!! Street-Tuned-Motorsports

I'll add another to STM. They do some great work and have top notch customer service.

Except for the fact that it took me over a week and a half to get rod bearings and i like 3 hrs away :p Took them like a week and a half to process and ship. LOL

I've never had any issues getting parts from them. I've only read about their great service, they have great reviews on the Evo boards.

I get my stuff in 3-4 days from them and I'm on the other side of the country LOL

which is why i call BS and i really need these bearings so i can sell this pos

There was a similar issue with another customer, something about a FP Red turbo. It was out of STM's hands as there was a back up at FP. Did you call to see what the hold up was ? They honestly have exceptional service, I'm sure they're not delaying it for no reason.

Idk but I would think you would have a lot more rod bearings in stock then a turbo. Especially for a shop :p Ill just have to stick with MAP, I would have gotten them already and they are much farther away then STM

I do agree but once in a while all of these shops have slight hiccups. For the most part STM seems to be solid. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience.

STM is very solid, I've ordered through them 15+ times and never had a problem. I usually call to find out if they have parts in stock though.

Yep, they've never let me down. Calling in for your order makes the process much smoother.

With any shop you could run into this problem. When they have a back order it will take a month to get your shipment.

Then at the same time it will take them 3 weeks to respond back as to why you never recieved your order. Been there many times.

But yeah STM is a great shop. Emery will help you with what ever you need, take you step by step.

I'm looking for a good shop in NY to rebuild my dsm for a reasonable price, does anyone have any suggestions?

I can say for a fact that the only place in NY to go is STM. i brought my pos there a few months back and am now pumping out 406 hp at 20psi on a 35r...number is low because my clutch didn't like it...Emery ordered me a twin which should be in this week...you should come to their Street Car Shootout the 13th and check out what Emery and his crew can do... just talk to Emery and tell him your plans with the car and he'll point you in the right direction... His only flaw: he'll tell you the truth good or bad and sometimes it's not what you wanna hear..LOL.. he won't steer you wrong...Good luck

Emery is brutally honest. I've dealt with a lot of shop in the past and I've never read about so many positive experiences as I've read about STM. I just wish they were closer to me.
