Golden Gardens Park dsm meet

I drove down there on my work break @ 7pm... just to see.
Weather was pretty good, but I didnt see a single DSM. I guess I was too late.

Did anybody show-up earlier? How was it?

we all showed up early. at max there was about 35 cars. well short of the 100 that signed up. still good to meet everyone. most left by 2pm

I checked the upper gate at the park. It is closed with an "Authorized Personnel Only" sign posted. If the weather clears up it's going to be packed, so pray for gray.

i saw your TSI but im not sure if you saw my laser. but your tsi isn't that bad. how did u like seeing the 2G's, my 1G, and the S15 and 240 pass you on 85th street heading away from golden gardens? i think you were by the 7-11??

yeah but then we headed to alki beach (too packed to park), drove thru the I-90 tunnels for some sound also then drove thru downtown seattle and made some noise then played with a little civic and jason and amber it! . but other then that we showed up around 4:15-4:30 and chilled for a bit and saw others who wasn't there before. but it was a good turnaround for a meet. who is all going to HIN??

Thanks for everyone that came out and attended, good to meet most of you,, sorry to those i didnt get to meet so many faces n all but i knows its hard to sit around and chill on a nice day ,we ended up leaving around 4:30. Sadly tho i lost my clutch on the way home simple fix i hope. but keep your ears open as were in the work on planing another meet at pir so this way we all have something to do besides sit in a parking lot plus they have food, but i,ll post as soon as i finnalize the plans, here are just a few pics below that stood out to me.

Yeah I thought that was you. I work graves so my ass had to get some sleep this morning. A little too much sleep, oh well. I got there and BS'd cars for a few hours. Talked with Derrin for a little bit the owner of M2, the guy with the 380hp turbo mirage. Then I think I left a little after you guys got back. It was great getting to talk DSMs. Hopefully next time I will be able to roll out of bed earlier.

The next time we go on a meet we need less "Bro's" in their evos. Gad, a lot of them were too cool to talk to us at OUR dsm meet. And more 1g guys need to make it!

Although I was only able to stop by for a little while around 1:00, it was still a cool meet. It sounds like people came and went throughout the whole day. It would have been nice to see if there could have been a set time to try and get the full load there all at once, but it could be hard to schedule. Still cool to actually see some DSMs though. I never get to see any around here.

O yeah and that's a cool picture of my passenger side up there ^ but that's my bad side! With the messed up wheels I haven't swapped yet and my bumper damage!

Sorry for not making it guys. Me in my car and my buddy in his gst were driving and his ghetto IC piping gave us a lot of trouble so we had to turn around and get his car back. Not having deep 10mm and 11mm sockets really sucks because using a wrench takes FOREVER!

I know it looks gimmicky but I have a big set of these in my trunk XL PASS-THRU SYSTEM > GearRatchet™ > | GearWrench™. Makes those nasty couplers easy. And better than carrying around a second set of deep well sockets. The low profile socket/ratchet also lets you get at stuff that would normally require a wrench. I've had this set for about 6 years and the indexing is in better shape than my Craftsmans.

yeah that was me. i left around 4:45-5 because i had about a hour or more drive back but since there wasn't any traffic and cops i did 75 the whole way home. yeah well i'll post everyone the DSM junk yard in my town so yeah maybe next time we can do a more northern meet and maybe hit all the malls and find some nice parks to do a mini met or something?
