Going 2.4L Stroker but not sure which Turbo

Over here in the Philippines, the fuel is rated as 96 Octane RON but many in the tuning field feel the number is anywhere between 90 and 93 octane. On my setup, I only get 270whp at 14psi on the GT30. If I go any higher, I will get more than 5 counts of knock and DSM Link will give me a check engine light and retart the timing to a point that the power will drop off. My other alternative is 50% Avgas which I am looking for. Maybe my option is to go water injection.

I had this turbo on my 2.0
in 4th gear starting at about 2000rpm I made 7psi by 4400rpm
YES it has a big A/R but it is a divided turbine housing so it keep's the exhaust pulses closer and helps spool the turbo

I never dynoed it But I sold it because I needed the money AS soon as I get more$$$ I'll buy another one
If you are all wondering WHAT THE HELL IS A HOLSET it is a dodge diesel turbo!!!

If you got a 2.4 just go straight T4

a H1C has a 54mm compressor.
 
Take the Holset turbo and use a Bullseye Turbine housing and you should see 15-20 psi at around 3500 rpm. Its A/R ratio is properly sized for a 2.0-2.4 liter engine.
 
Here are some close up pictures of a Holset compressor wheel vs. a Garrett GT series. You'll notice the larger diameter exducer without taking the compressor blades all the way to the edge. This helps diffuse the air, decreasing turbulance and increasing efficiency.

How much CFM or lbs/min dose the holset flow I have looked all over the place and found NOTHING!!!!

I have a compressor map for an H1-E also if you want one
which hpolset would you suggest?
 
The only two housings we machine for the Holset is the HX-35 and HX-40 cartridge. Holset is fairly "tight lipped" about their flow rates. But, our local rep has mentioned a 50-55 lb/min rating on the HX-35 and he puts the HX-40 at around 70-75 lb/min. Its not just the ratings, its the technology that makes Holset stand out from the rest. The Map Width Enhancement groove, pictures can be found at www.bullseyepower.com. This groove allows air to be feed to the second set of blades on the compressor wheel, better known as the "splitters". The design on both wheels are superior to even that of the Garrett GT Series. Here are some close ups of the turbine wheel. Take a close look at the inducer, its has a cast, rounded shape vs the Garrett machined, squared edge.

We dont broadcast our A/R ratio since it is proprietary. However, I can tell you that its between a .48 and a .63
 
No, not yet. If there was a demand for it we could certainly make it. But, it would have to be at least a 20 piece run.
 
I am trying to select a turbo also for my 2.4. A few people told me to go with a t70 from master power with the .82 a/r divided hotside. What are peoples suggestions on this. Flows somewhere around 75 lbs/min max. What do you guys think that this would spool up at? Do you think this is to big? Many have suggested turbos close to this. Thanks for the input. :)
