Figured i'de ask before i buy a new MAF cause i can get and install the translator and GM MAF cheaper.... Can i do it on a 1.8?

Currently no one makes a translater for the 1.8. They only make them for the N/A 2.0 and the turbo 2.0. If you used one of those, your fuel trims would be all out of whack. I suggest going to a junkyard. I see tons of 1.8s there. You could probably pick one up for $10-20.
