Garrett T25 on 1g

The stock 14b is broken, so a friend has a T25 laying around. Can i bolt the T25 up to my stock manifold, or do i need a different manifold or any other parts to do this? if i'm not mistaken the t25 is stock on 2g dsm's..? Thanks, Brian

your need to find some kind of lower intercooler pipe, and possibly a oil feed line too.

You can find a 14b for cheap, don't waste your time with a t25. As Logue said, the ic pipes are different. You would have to either fabricate or buy a lower ic pipe that would accomidate the downflow type t25. The price/ time of that alone should make you buy a used 14b. Check this sites classifieds or even ebay.

if you know someone that modded their 2g then they more than likely have their stock lower ic pipe laying around. The only problem would be the oil feed line. You'd have to file the oil drain and bend the water pipes too.
