I'm looking to get a new GST transmission for my upcoming N/T to turbo conversion and I was wondering if you can physically spot the difference between the 91 to 92-94 transmissions. A guy is offering me a GST transmission but he's unsure of the year and I'm not sure how you can verify it was off a 92-94 if it's a FWD transmission. I know the AWD 92-94s had a 23 spline count vs the 22 spline count for the 90-early 91. Thanks guys.

the only difference for the 21, 22, 23 spline count is for the awd output shaft to the transfercase, the input shaft fromt transmission to clutch on fwd are all the same.
