fwd have lsd or not

Ok so I bought this transmission and he said came with quife lsd, question is how can I test to see if it has lsd. I jacked both tires up and spun the right tire while in gear and the left went the opposite way. An when i spun the tire in neutral the other tire did not spin. But when I posted a picture of the axle way of the transmission you can stright through it, nothing in the way. I would post picture put wouldnt let me. An people say if the transmission was not lsd then their would be a pin you could see, an this one you cant. But i read all over that if it had lsd both tires should spin both ways.

If it had LSD with the trans in neutral, spinning one of the tires the other should spin with it. It should take some force to make one spin without the other. Sounds like you have an open diff.

exactly as said above sounds like you werent given the truth my man, or do a launch with slicks and youll know asap

With a lsd both tires will spin the same way when you have it in neutral and turn one side.

Well what if the hole is clear from one side axle to other??

Also I had my right side jacked up and my left side on ground and I tried to spin tire while in 1st and it would not spin

There should be a pin thru the center of the diff for the spider gears. As far as having one side jacked up with the car in gear. You won't be able to turn the wheel that is off the ground with a lsd or an open differential.

like wheat said you cant turn one wheel off the ground with lsd
