Yesterday I was installing my strut tower bar and my girlfriend was sitting in my room looking around on the internet. One of my car friends starts talking to her online and asks her what I'm doing. She tells him I'm outside installing a "power bar." :rolleyes:
 
THe main complaint is the New Fuel Pump Whine, some dont know what the BOV is and EVERYONE asks why my car is still on (TT) The basics...

That and people asking "is that a GSX or GST" and I tell them it's an RS...

by far the funniest thing i've ever heard is

"is your car working yet?"


I've also been told about leaving the car running, and always hear the "oh he has Nawws!!" after hearing the bov.

i heard "what happened to your car, why's it soo low/bumpy?"

another funny one was
"what's that little button that says 'engine start' do?"

I also plan on taking my 3 piece wing off my car. The only way you can tell its fast now is the intercooler, but I might a mesh grill. I do also plan on putting on a body kit and making it look like a RS show car with no go. But when they run me theyll see whats up. :thumb:

Ill still keep RS sticker on the trunk when I get that body kit too. ;)
 
Actually, my gf knows just about as much as me. But the other day I was i was teaching my sister to drive (it was her first time EVER behind the wheel after the written test) in my mom's car. I told her to press down on the break all the way and pull shifter down to "D". She asked me "Shouldn't I put it in 'N'?" A little confused, I asked her why in the world she'd wanna do that and she simply told me "For normal...?"

It makes me wonder how she passed the written test...

Haha, I had a hard time trying to explain to her what "1" and "2" was as well. Apparently she had the the Parking and Reverse down, but she thought the "D" was some kind of super fast mode...

My BOV went off once while I was giving a girl a ride home from school, she half screamed and said I musta run a cat over ?!?! :laugh:

When I first began to mod my car, my girl bought me my MBC( I asked her to hehe) When I installed it and took her for a ride she said she wanted to bring it back cause it made my car to fast and scary and didnt know it was going to do THAT!
She loves my car now though. which is good.

Ha Ha Ha! This guy that I worked with curled into the fetal position in my passenger side seat when I hit 13psi on a cold night. It was so funny to watch because he talked so much crap about how fast his truck was. :laugh:
 
today i came home from school and my mom says to me "how come you sit outside in your car for so long when you get home?"

You should tell her you wanted to finish the Playboy article you were reading before you got in the house where'd it would be inappropriate. :laugh: just kidding... I think we've all gotten comments about our turbo timers and blow off valves. I can't tell you how many times I had to explain why i need to let my car idle for a while before i shut it off.

So whenever someone asks me about my BOV again, I'm just going to say "That's my car laughing at the other car for even trying to keep up...":thumb:
 
In school my teacher(50 something) was looking at these pictures my friend had of his dads cobra r. He had an engine shot showing the MONSTERRRR supercharger and my teacher asked what that was and if it was NOS:cry:

That comment burns me up, (my car is slow cause its a 90 and it dosen't please other peoples looks) I had a girl say guages ur a Fast and Furiouis'er with all those posers. Ya, i def told her to stfu or walk, then she reminded me she dose my homework LOL.
