97 gsx auto.

After getting everything ready to start my gsx for the first time after sitting for 3 years, i found out I'm not getting any fuel. So I popped open the cover to get to the pump and checked the voltage at the switch and its getting power, so I disconnected all the lines (and broke one of the lines) and started to crank the car, and got no fuel coming out of any lines. So Im assuming the pump is done. What all do I need besides a walhbro 255? Any gaskets involved?

Also, how do I get a new fuel line and whats the proper way to swap without shredding it again? Its the only fuel line thats swegged for a pressure fitting, its the only one on top that you have to take off with a 14mm and a 19mm.

Ordered a new Walbro 255. What else do I need for install, will I need a new FPR?

The fuel pump should come with all applicable hardware, other than that you may need to go to a shop to get the hose made. I assume the hose you are talking about is the one you have to break loose to get off without twisting the hell out of it.

Would I absolutely need one to get the car to run? I mean will it overpower the stock system? AFPR gonna hafta wait till the first.

Yes it will over power the stock system. What I suggest is pick a level lower then 255 like evo pumps etc. those pumps won't over power the system. Or what I would do is find a stock pump for cheap because I value maintenance over upgrades.

Well, swapped the pump and finally got the car running after 3 years sitting at my works parking lot. The sending unit is toast. It was corroded beyond repair, but not bad enough to re-use.

Got the car running, to find out the car smokes like a sum bi***. I think the bearings in the turbo are gone. The turbo sounds like an empty spray paint can.

Whats a good option for stock replacement turbo that wont break the bank? Im not looking to upgrade unless its around the same price. The car is stock but will have a AFPR plus my walbro 255hp. Im willing to also get injectors, but im sure once I hit that era I will be needing dsmlink.
