Fuel Pump on AEM EMS 30-1300.

Guys ... I have a problem, I have a aem series 1 on my 1G ... and she can not turn on the fuel pump .. anyone ever had a problem like?

I developed the same problem late last summer also Luizhgato. The car died on me on me driving home late last summer and after lots of testing and trouble shooting i narrowed it down to the AEM series 1 ECU is not sending a signal to the fuel pump relay. I then sent the ems to AEM for repairs and they said the ECU is good and they found no problem the ecu passed all repair tests. I now have to install the EMS back in the car and see if it turns on the fuel pump which i haven't done yet due to the harsh winter we had this year in eastern Canada. Please keep me updated on your progress with this problem and i will do the same ... in the coming weeks i will be installing the ecu back in the car and see if the problem is gone. I will also be taking the car to the AEM tuner i use up here in Canada to see if it was a malfunction i the programming.

A malfunction in the tune/programming wouldn't exhibit complete failure of the pump like that. If you said it was intermittent then I could maybe believe something in the cal would be causing that but not a complete failure and refusal to start working again.

The file uploaded to the AEM that encompasses the tune for the car. I think most people call it a BIN but AEM uses the word "cal".

Thank you sir for the clarification on what cal is ... im going to take the car back to the AEM tuner and i think re-doing the tune will solve the problem.

I had issues once, it was due to a poor ground for the fuel pump relay for AEM.
